Founder and Chairman of Board
A UK trained Engineer and lover of the Arts, Gladstone’s interest has always been there from his school days in England. This keen interest was channeled into the production of a Documentary series called “People and Places” in UK on BEN TV and OBTV,  in 2003 for 2 seasons. 
One of the notable Stage plays Produced by him was the “Rape of Gidiolu” at the Muson Centre, a play written and Directed by his brother Wale Macaulay.
His passion to impart Historically relevant information to our youth and impact the sense of origin and belonging, led to the formation of the foundation. Our aim is to use Stage Art and Craft, Media, Films, Documentary, Concerts and Lecture to engage the minds and to be the repository of fine, Correct Historical content for posterity.

Herbert Macaulay Stamp

Date Issued: October 1st, 1964
Face Value: 1’3 Nigerian shilling

Purpose:

Commemorates Herbert Macaulay, widely regarded as the Father of Nigerian Nationalism.

Design and Value:

The stamp was issued in the value of 1’3 s (one shilling and three pence, Nigerian shilling) and was printed in green. The design was created by W. H. Irvine and printed by Harrison & Sons Ltd.

Initial Date Issued: July 2, 1972

Face Value: Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

Issuing Authority:

Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

Status:

The One Naira banknote has since been withdrawn from circulation and was replaced by a coin in 1991 as part of a currency restructuring effort.

ONE NAIRA COIN

Current Status:

The one Naira coin has been re-issued in a new design (bi-metallic) in 2006 and is technically still considered legal tender in Nigeria.
